Everyone is always looking for a great deal and I am no exception. As the President and owner of Lanterra Properties, an active leader in my church, a husband, father and grandfather my time is very important to me. In addition to the time, I take great pride in choosing wisely when making financial decisions that affect my business and family. When you are talking about insuring your business and more importantly your family you hope you can find a company who you can trust and who have your best interest in mind. Ellis Insurance is committed to integrity and Jerry and his staff have consistently gone above and beyond the call of duty in all of my dealings with them. Jerry has personally bailed me out two different occasions when I have forgotten my insurance cards and needed to get on a military base.

In my view, an insurance policy is no better than the agent representing it. To win my business price is a factor of course; however, most important is my agents knowledge, integrity and responsiveness. Jerry,

I wanted to write to you and tell you what a wonderful experience it has been working with your agency.  From the beginning, when I really didn’t know so much, everyone in your office was so patient and friendly and you don’t know how much I appreciate that. 

There were (are) so many problems, guidelines, etc. and I’m sure it is very difficult for your agency to deal with.  I know that everyone in your office lives by the Golden Rule and it is nothing for anyone there to be courteous, but it really is rare to deal with such a nice group of people.  I especially love the fact that you and I can talk on a personal level as well, and I feel like I’ve found a friend.

Thanks, Jerry for making me laugh every time I talked to you, you brightened up my days!  I am very excited about my new career opportunity, but I am a little sad to leave, not the program, but dealing with my agents, and you are by far my favorite!!!  I know you are a special group of people and I can only hope to deal with such lovely people in the future.

I would just like to take this opportunity to thank you for your handling of all my insurance requirements. It is very comforting to know I have someone of your expertise, professionalism and integrity looking out for my best interests. But equally, if not more comforting, is knowing of the genuine personal concern you have. As you know, I carried all of my insurance with Farmer's for over 25 years. I became very dissatisfied with their atttitude toward their clients during the recent insurance upheaval in Texas, plus the fact that my agent never would answer my questions to my satisfaction. I tried USAA for my auto insurance, but felt I was just a number, never really knowing anyone on a personal basis. Since putting all my insurance in your hands I feel a greater confidence in my level of protection, at ease with my agent, AND have saved money! The first year you saved me money over my previous policies, and this year I was pleasantly surprised to see my premiums were even lower!

For several years we had our homeowners insurance policy with Allstate.  We were happy with the policy and service until suddenly we received our renewal notice for 2003 and were shocked that the normal cost of our policy had more than doubled and was now over $2500.00! We had coverage with Allstate for over thirty years and never had a claim. We were out to dinner later that week and mentioned our Allstate shock to our friends.   We were told they had Ellis as their insurance and their insurance had not skyrocketed and they like the service as well.  We called the very next day and talked to jerry at Ellis insurance.  He got on the issue right away and within hours got us the same coverage we had with Allstate for $995.00!  His service was very friendly and prompt and we have enjoyed doing business with Ellis Insurance Company ever since.  All our questions are always answered and follow up is great!
